United Way of the Greater Chippewa Valley announces $500,000 endowment gift to support COVID-19 Response & Recovery efforts in the Chippewa Valley

“We hope the investment inspires creative thinking around new partnerships and methods and also helps grow and strengthen programs and processes that are already positively impacting residents who are struggling in our communities,” said Dr. Marc Goulet, Administrator, UW-Eau Claire and UWGCV Recovery Grant Lead.

Building a Strong Endowment – Gifts that Keep Giving

In a time when our communities face an uncertain future, there is value in reflecting as an organization and as an individual. Who would have ever guessed that camaraderie through golfing would have such a profound impact on the future of our communities. Who knew an anonymous couple would make such a difference for the area they love. Join us in reflecting on the moments that helped to build United Way of the Greater Chippewa Valley’s (UWGCV) Endowment Fund.

32nd Annual United Way Golf Tournament

United Way’s annual Golf Tournament is a great fundraiser for the organization and an opportunity for our sponsors and supporters to network. We are working on a new format to ensure the safety of everyone involved. We plan to host the event on Monday, August 17, at Lake Wissota Golf. Online registration will begin on Monday, June 15.

Day of Caring

United Way's Day of Caring has been a cornerstone event held each September for over 20 years. We are working on creating a plan for a modified event - think parks, days of food packing and small, safe teams working at our wonderful non-profit agencies as they can accommodate us. More details to come later this month.
