Impact in the Chippewa Valley

Welcome! It’s hard to believe, but I recently celebrated my one-year anniversary with United Way of the Greater Chippewa Valley. What a year it has been! As I reflect back on my first 12 months, I can’t tell you how proud I am of our United Way team. Each and every day they impress me with their passion for our mission.
We fulfill our mission by bringing together resources to advance the common good. I see this with my own two eyes on a daily basis. In a year where we welcomed four new staff members, collaboration with our dedicated volunteers has been as important as ever. Whether it was navigating a mostly virtual campaign, administering the application process for our 2022-2025 Grant Cycle, or investing $500,000 from our Endowment into COVID Recovery Grants, the strength of our staff/volunteer partnerships has allowed us to step up in a time of need for the communities we serve.
As I look forward to the next 12 months, I am excited to see our United Way team develop as leaders. As a team, we’ll develop new partnerships and strengthen existing ones. Bringing together more resources will undoubtedly lead to new and creative ways to deliver impact. With your continued support, we can continue to step up for the communities of Chippewa and Eau Claire counties.
