IMPACT TOURS - LAST CALL! 🚌

Impact Tours provide the opportunity to learn more about the issues affecting our community and how you can support the efforts of local nonprofits by donating to United Way. For each tour, we visit multiple United Way Program Partners throughout the scheduled time. You'll get an up-close look at the amazing work that is being done right here in the Chippewa Valley.

On this last tour, we'll visit:

1. Hope Gospel Mission Day Resource Center

2. Family Support Center and River Source Family Center

3. Boys and Girls Club of the Greater Chippewa Valley - Chippewa Falls Location

PURPOSE - To continue promoting financial support for our community's non-profits by contributing to small scale and/or emergency needs and projects across Eau Claire and Chippewa counties.

DURATION - $12,500.00 will be released every quarter for a total allocation of $50,000.00 annually.

Please note this is a single use grant. An organization can only receive one Small Act Grant allocation per year (even with applying multiple times/multiple quarters).

REQUIREMENTS - Align with any of the initiatives of United Way Greater Chippewa Valley. May not necessarily be a program partner but still need to fall under one of our 5 pillars. This MUST be an immediate need and serve our ALICE population!

WHO CAN APPLY? Local non-profit organizations in Eau Claire and Chippewa Counties (Current, Past, and Non-Program Partners are welcomed).

All applicants MUST be a non-profit organization, provide their 501c3 identification, and not exceed the $2,500.00 ask - this will result in automatic denial.

ACCOUNTABILITY - Small Act Grant recipients are required to show proof of purchase(s), imagery for social media / UWGCV's promotional use, and will recognize UWGCV appropriately through social media, print and digital advertising, alongside any other marketing or community facing platforms.

Once you apply you will be contacted with more information regarding whether or not you've received the grant.

In addition to that, we currently do not work with any political, religious, or animal affiliated organizations - so please apply accordingly!

Together, we can create healthier, more connected communities.

This dynamic group is designed to help participants increase their leadership impact in their organization, the social sector, and the community at large. Emerging Leaders are collaborative, great teammates, and good communicators. They seek others' input and opinions, use it to shape their ideas, and generate consensus. They have strong soft-skills and have emotional intelligence when it comes to dealing with others.

Join Emerging Leaders on October 21st at the LE Phillips Memorial Library as we support Girls on the Run in preparing for a fun Halloween season! We’ll assemble candy giveaways that the organization will hand out at several community trick-or-treat events. These giveaways will not only bring smiles to local kids but will also help Girls on the Run share their mission with a wider audience.

Girls on the Run will be participating in:

- Halloween at the YMCA (Chippewa Falls)

- Eau Claire Marathon Halloween 5K

- Downtown Eau Claire Trick or Treat

Participants will hear from Rose Dolan-Neill the Executive Director at Girls on the Run Chippewa Valley and her journey into a leadership role for a local non-profit.

Come lend a hand, connect with fellow Emerging Leaders, and make a direct impact for an organization empowering girls in our community — all while having a little Halloween fun of our own!
