New Year Greetings from your friends at United Way Greater Chippewa Valley!
As we step into January and a fresh start, we’re filled with gratitude for the impact you made possible in 2024. From every life you’ve touched to every goal we’ve achieved together, your support has been the heartbeat of our mission.
As we honor Martin Luther King Jr. Day on January 15, we’re inspired by his vision of service and community. Let’s keep the spirit of unity alive by building a better future, together.
Thank you for being part of our impact. Here’s to an awesome year ahead!

When you support UWGCV, you are investing in innovative, research based and results-focused initiatives. These initiatives coordinate the work of local programs, service providers and community stakeholders in the Chippewa Valley. Each Program Partner is funded under a specific initiative that is driven by a bold goal that keeps everyone working toward the same mission.
|
|
Bold Goal:
Chippewa Valley residents will have access to food, shelter and medical services in their time of need.
|
|
Organization Description:
Hope Village is currently a community of 10 tiny homes nestled together and adjacent to a community center that will be the hub of the community. The community center houses the bathrooms, showers, laundry facilities, a community room, kitchen, meeting space, and a severe weather shelter. Hope Village hopes to add a maker space/shop and a retail space to the property. We have researched various tiny home villages for the un-sheltered and want Hope Village to take the best of each, with the hopes of making Hope Village a great place to live and an asset to our community.
Mission: Guide our guests to stable housing using a program of sheltering, mentoring, and educating.

“Thank you to Hope Village for being able to continue to work on my program and get my feet on the ground. Now I work, pay my rent and I am a productive member of society.”

How does UWGCV strengthen your program?
The United Way Greater Chippewa Valley (UWGCV) has supported our program in numerous ways beyond funding. Our Director has been actively involved in the Basic Needs Advisory Council (BNAC) since its inception. This involvement keeps him informed about community activities, the services provided by other BNAC organizations, and their efforts to become more inclusive. He also gains insights into their best practices, which helps improve our own program's effectiveness.
Additionally, we are frequently invited to participate in impact tours, where groups visit us to learn more about our work and operational methods. These tours provide valuable exposure and networking opportunities. We've had the privilege of presenting at various campaign kickoff events at local businesses. During these events, we share how United Way dollars positively impact local neighbors, who are struggling, raising awareness of Hope Village, and financial support for the United Way. The support from UWGCV, through networking, exposure, and community engagement, has significantly contributed to the success and visibility of our program.
