THANK YOU ❤️

Happy Holidays from your friends at United Way Greater Chippewa Valley!

Our hearts are full of gratitude for the impact you’ve helped make possible. Every life touched and every milestone reached reflects the power of your generosity and commitment to our mission.

At the end of this year, we’re celebrating the spirit of giving, reflecting on the progress we’ve made together, and looking ahead to an even brighter 2026. Together, we can make this season one filled with even more hope, joy, and lasting change. Community has never been more important than now!

We also recognize that the holidays can be a difficult time for many — whether personally or through experiences with loved ones. Please remember: it’s okay not to be okay. United Way is here and we want to remind you of the resources and support available to help.

OH BABY! YOU HELPED MAKE AN IMPACT 👶

A week ago you helped us raise over $1,000 and a wide variety of supplies for our Diaper Bank! Thank you so much 🧡

Your impact addresses the needs and furthers the impact for:

  • 17% of WI children under 3 years old, who live in families below the poverty line (vs. 37% nationally)

  • 181,712 children under age 3 living in Wisconsin

  • 5.35 million diapers distributed annually by WI diaper banks — This supports ~8,900 babies each month

A huge thank you goes to Ruder Ware once again for sponsoring the night, 2 Roots Art & Wine Gallery for hosting us that evening, and to Half Shebang for the incredible performance!

HEY - YOU ARE NOT ALONE 🧡

December is a month filled with a unique set of celebrations! Between ChristmasHanukkah, and Kwanzaa, then New Year's Eve, alongside important global days like Human Rights Day and the Winter Solstice, we can feel a lot of gratitude and also moments of being overwhelmed.

Whether you're holding space for all of these moments or just one, please remember you're supported and never alone.

You don’t have to navigate challenges by yourself. United Way is here to help!

Whether that means finding a therapist, a local program or agency, or simply someone who will listen.

A MESSAGE FROM OUR FRIENDS AT CHIPPEWA COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH -

Chippewa County Department of Public Health (CCDPH) is conducting a Community Survey to support the development of our new Strategic Plan, and we would greatly appreciate it if you took and shared it.

Your networks are essential to ensuring we hear from a wide range of residents, including those who may be underrepresented in traditional outreach. Please forward the link below or include it in your newsletters, social media, or other communication channels.

The survey takes about 5 minutes and is open to anyone who lives, works, or plays in Chippewa County.

Thank you for helping us strengthen community health and for your continued partnership.

This dynamic group is designed to help participants increase their leadership impact in their organization, the social sector, and the community at large. Emerging Leaders are collaborative, great teammates, and good communicators. They seek others' input and opinions, use it to shape their ideas, and generate consensus. They have strong soft-skills and have emotional intelligence when it comes to dealing with others.
