The Impact Story - and the Many Reasons We are Telling It

So what?

This is the plain, direct question that United Way of the Greater Chippewa Valley’s Impact Model exists to answer. We promise change – and measurable change at that. In our first three-year granting cycle under the Impact Model we gathered lots of data from our Program Partners. Our Advisory Councils helped us understand it and understand how to do better.

In our second granting cycle (we just finished year 2 of 3), we’re working with more collaboration and intention.  It’s an interesting and meaningful story.

There’s just one problem. We haven’t been very good at telling it.  Over the next months we will bring our community up-to-date with our Impact Story.  Once we’re all together on the same page with the same understanding, we will enjoy regular updates year after year. Our Partners have been faithful – it’s time we do our part to give everyone the big picture – the big story.

United Way is a legacy agency that’s also fresh and new. Our roots and traditions run deep – and our methods for fulfilling our mission are dynamic. We’re looking forward to telling you the story!
