Last week United Way released the ALICE report. In the language of data, the report tells us the stories of our neighbors (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) who are vulnerable to a small misfortune that can have a big impact on their lives. Impacts vary and are interconnected – lack of food security, housing security changed, a child’s development impeded, a parent’s education ended, a mother’s mental health disrupted. Please don’t underestimate the impact of a small misfortune.

That’s why we function in a vast network of Advisory Council experts and Programs Partner specialists, working to strengthen, and when necessary, provide for, our vulnerable neighbors.  UWGCV invites our Partners into collaborations designed to do the most good at the most important times.  Every act of service by our Program Partners and their volunteers matters.  Please don’t underestimate the impact of the service that your donation makes possible.
