Application Guidelines

United Way of the Greater Chippewa Valley provides funding to a variety of human service agencies throughout Chippewa and Eau Claire Counties. This funding is guided by the needs and strategies outlined in the Community Action Plans for Education, Income and Health.

 
When are applications accepted?
Applications are not currently being accepted.
 
Who can apply?
Only nonprofit organizations that have already submitted an Intent Form,” and received approval, are eligible to submit a full application. All programs applying for funding must be able to answer affirmatively to the following questions:
  • Does your organization have 501(c)(3) status, or do you have a fiscal agent that has 501(c)(3) status?
  • Does your organization serve the residents of Chippewa and/or Eau Claire Counties?
  • Does your program address one or more of the community-wide outcomes included in the Community Action Plans for Education, Income or Health?  
 
How do I apply?
Before submitting an application, agencies must first submit an Intent Form. After reviewing the information contained in this form, you will be notified whether or not you qualify and can submit a full application. Intent Forms and Applications are only accepted and reviewed at certain times. Please see, “When are applications accepted?” (above).
